Google releases new privacy features to its Google app for the users to delete their recent search history. Google has different types of options to delete their search history like auto delete, delete today, etc but before the release of this new feature, there is no option to delete within 15-minute search history. A lot of users waiting for this feature and now it’s officially released. In this article, we will show you step by step how to delete last 15 minutes of Google search history.
Before using this feature you must update your Google app to the latest version to use this feature.
How to delete last 15 minutes of Google search history android
1. Open Google app on your android mobile
2. Now in Google app at the top right corner Click on your profile icon.
3. It will show option of Delete last 15 minutes below search history. Simply Click on Delete last 15 minutes and your last 15 minutes search history will be deleted.
A dialog box will appear when you delete last 15 minutes history which states that “Deleting history. Changes will show in your account soon”.
Note: Google recently released this feature and it’s rolling out for Android users. Some users got this feature and others will get this in the coming weeks.
IOS users already have this feature they got this feature in July 2021. Android release was delayed because they failed to provide the expected timeline.
IOS users can also follow the same steps to delete their last 15 minutes search history. Open Google app and click on your profile icon and it will show the option to delete last 15 minutes simply click on it and your history will be deleted.
For Desktop users this feature is not available right now and it is not yet confirmed that it will be available in future. There are other options available for desktop users to delete their history you can use like if you open chrome history on your desktop you can press CTRL+A to select all the history and Click on Delete button at the top right corner to delete all your history at once. You can also select particular history by searching in history search bar and can also do by scrolling and click on the checkbox on those you want to delete and then click on delete and your history will be deleted.
